2010

Foundations in Soil Science

While still farming in New Zealand, completed a Diploma in Agriculture. Began extensive study in soil microbiolgy, driven by hands-on farming experience and a deep curiosity about soil biology and plant nutrition. Also developed expertise in multispectral imagery (infrared, NDRE, NDVI, TGI) through practical application and research.

First Biological Fertiliser Blend

Developed the first biological fertiliser blend and began two years of rigorous field trials toward perfection. The goal was clear: create products that work with soil
biology, not against it.

BioNZ Hits the Market

After years of testing and refinement, BioNZ launched commercially, supplying biological fertiliser at scale across New Zealand. Farmers began seeing real results from biology-driven nutrition.

2021

A New Direction in Queensland

Invited to join the Bio Dunder team in Sarina, supporting Wilmar Sugar and local
farmers with biological fertiliser solutions. The move brought microbiology expertise and practical agronomy to the Queensland sugarcane industry. Became a member of Soil Science Australia and achieved FertCare accreditation as a professional
agronomist in Australia.

Started trials of foliar fertiliser applications for sugarcane, testing formulations and
application methods to deliver nutrients directly where crops need them most.

Agrovision Ag Is Founded

Expansion Across Regional Queensland

Operations grew from Burdekin to Bundaberg, extending west into the grain region.
Pond and dam treatments were added to the business scope, treating surface and
subsurface weeds to protect waterways and aquatic life.
